Aurorabat

While we are used to bats hibernating through the winter months, The Otherwood is host to a most magical variety indeed, which is most active throughout those frosty days. Much like it's namesake, the Aurorabat has velvety wings adorned in ever shifting ribbons of colour. Their flight is a true glory to behold on cold and starlit winter nights.

This Aurorabat is 16cm tall, with an extended wingspan of 45cm. It's wings are poseable, as is it's head, and it features hooked feet so it may be hung upside down from a cord. Made with polymer clay, plush fabric, wire, stretch velvet and acrylic paints.
