Emberwing
£70.00
As the days get colder and fires are stoked in homes, the
Emberwing stirs from it’s summer hibernation. A keen eye may notice them nestling down among the coals or logs, they bask on the embers of which they get their name. Or floating above the flickering flames in the warm air on shimmering gossamer wings.
Emberwings are made by hand here in Scotland, with polymer clay faces and scales, glass eyes and soft fabric bodies. Their bodies feature a wire armature and can be posed. Each is approximately 25cm in uncurled length.
