Oakleaf Fae - Spring
Living in some of the largest and strongest trees, the oak leaf fae hide up in the branches in their little nests, protecting themselves from harm. They are known for their seasonal headwear and decoration of their nests, which form a comfortable abode which they defend quite aggressively, even going as far as sharpening twigs into little "stabbers" to get birds to leave them alone.
In the springtime their nests are made from the newer green leaves, with the tender stems and buds making suitable bedding after their Winter wardrobe has been retired. They wash in clean rains and make themselves presentable for the storm of gossip, drama and betrayal that is their breeding season.
These small creatures are approximately 7cm tall, feature moveable joints at the neck and limbs, and come with their own decorated nest which can be hung up.
Each one is entirely unique, as they are sculpted by hand
